Excel Scope - MS Excel-based Measure Software
Excel Scope is a data acquisition software which
enables direct importing of measure data from CONEC analog-to-digital
converter to MS Excel. This software supports data acquisition as well as
data analysis and report making using Excel spreadsheet
functions.
For instance, Excel Scope allows you to make an
inspection report after acquiring data by utilizing Excel macro functions.
Like this, you can easily establish a measure system that meets your own
needs. Please note that changing of macro is to be
conducted on your responsibility.
This DAC software allows
you to simulate data acquisition without requiring an analog-to-digital
converter. Try out its basic features before purchasing the
hardware. (API-PAC(WDM) software driver for the demo board must be
installed on your PC.)

Excel Scope can acquire maximum 32-channel data from CONTEC analogue
input board or from PC card at a high speed, and can display them in
graphs or write them onto Excel sheet. It also allows you to set up
trigger function, continuous execution and real-time calculation as well
as to output the measure result as a report.
- Excel Scope is highly suited for use in an environment which involves
high-speed monitoring. It has already been used in the following
applications:
Measurement of acceleration,
strain and oscillation
- Excel Scope is a program which has been developed by combining
ACX-PAC(W32) components. Purchasing ACX-PAC(W32) along with Excel2000(or
Excel2002 or Exce2003) allows you to modify and customize the program to
suit your needs.

Excel 2000, 2002 or 2003 Precision of measure:
Approx.±1.5mV at ±10V range (This is when using a signal source
which incorporates a high-speed operational amplifier. When the
ambient temperature is either 0°C or 50°C, there may be an error of
0.1% with the maximum range.) The maximum sampling speed will
vary depending on the PC CPU, memory and hard disk
performance.

When using either PCI or Low Profile PCI
board |

Set the board ID. (See the hardware
manual for the details.) When mounting more
than one board of the same type on one PC unit,
you need to differentiate each board by allocating
a board ID. |

After confirming that PC power is off, insert
the board onto PCI bus
slot. | |

When using PC card |

Connect the cable to PC card. |

Insert it onto CardBus slot. (See the hardware

Connect the connector
portion of the board or PC card to the connector
portion of the terminal block with a cable. |

A driver software must be installed
to let each OS recognize the hardware. The
latest version of the driver software API-AIO(WDM)
can be downloaded from the download
page.
The
required software is execution environment
(runtime). Install the driver that matches your
OS. For the details of the installation

"Contec PC Measure" will be created in the Start
Menu program. Execute "Excel Measure System (Excel
Scope)" you can find inside "Contec PC
